Job summary

Twin City Fan & Blower Co. is seeking an Industrial Painter for 1st shift with entry level pay starting at $19.00 per hour. The role involves applying solvent and water-based paints to metal and other surfaces using spray equipment, and preparing surfaces for coating.

You will read shop orders/blueprints, mix paints, document work, and maintain clean, safe work areas. Forklift/ crane operations may be required depending on location; on-site training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and up to 2 years of painting experience preferred.
• Ability to read shop orders and blueprints; follow safety rules and standard work instructions.
• Basic math skills for measures, units, and tolerances.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and accurately.
• May be required to operate forklift/crane/pallet jack depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Applies solvent and water-based paints to metal and other surfaces using spray equipment.
• Prepares walls and other surfaces for painting.
• Covers fixtures and fills cracks/holes before painting.
• Mixes paints and matches colors.
• May coordinate large painting projects and perform touch-ups.
• Completes documentation and maintains clean, organized work areas.
