Job summary

The Brock Group Inc is seeking an industrial painter/coater and blaster to apply coatings to indoor and outdoor environments across North America, performing abrasive blasting, fireproofing, metalizing, and spray painting in commercial and industrial settings.

This role requires reading work orders, adhering to safety requirements, and operating blast pots and spray pumps. It is a full-time on-site position with physical demands and climbing requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Paint surfaces using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
• Prepare, operate, inspect and maintain blast pots and spray pumps.
• Read work orders or instructions from supervisor.
• Climb scaffolding or ladders to work at height.
• Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect areas.
• Burn off old paint with a blowtorch when required.
• Remove fixtures from walls prior to painting.
• Sand surfaces between coats and finish to spec.
