Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Painter Blaster in the United States. You will prepare surfaces and apply paint to equipment, parts, machinery, buildings and other areas using spray guns, brushes, and rollers. Must have journeyman-level experience and the ability to work at heights.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, preparing surfaces, mixing coatings, erecting scaffolding, and performing other duties as assigned. Equal opportunity employer; eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Education – no minimum education requirements.
• Experience – 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and receive instructions verbally.
• Prepare surfaces using methods to remove dirt, oil, grease, old paint, and cracks.
• Work at heights with no fear.
• Fill cavities and dents to attain a smooth surface.
• Mix coating liquids to match color specifications.
• Erect scaffolding or set up ladders as needed above ground level.
• Apply paint to surfaces using spray gun, brush, or roller.
• Other duties as assigned.
