Job summary

Eaton Corporation's ESSG CPSD PRD Power Reliability Division in South Milwaukee, WI, is hiring an Industrial Painter/Assembler for the 1st shift. You will perform both painting and assembly on Padmount Switchgear Units, maintaining paint systems and working on steel/aluminum enclosures and accessories.

The role requires painting to 2 mm dry film thickness, maintaining equipment, and following process specs.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial spray painting or completion of a one-year post-high school course in industrial spray painting or coating applications.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of South Milwaukee, WI will be considered.

Responsibilities

Perform assembly and painting operations on Padmount Switchgear Units.
Paint medium to large electrical switchgear, enclosures, and accessories.
Maintain painting equipment and perform light to medium assembly tasks.
Set fluids and air pressures for equipment and monitor spray application to maintain 2-millimeter dry film thickness.
Maintain a clean work area and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Operate a forklift as necessary.
Be responsible for own work with minimal supervision.
