Job summary

Lee Industrial Contracting in Michigan is seeking a painting/fabrication support team member. You will assist with surface preparation, paint mixing, and finishing under foremen and supervisors, while moving materials and maintaining a safe work area.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of commercial/industrial experience or related technical schooling, basic math skills, and the ability to follow instructions. Forklift and crane experience are a plus. Valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

1–2 years of commercial/industrial experience or related technical schooling preferred.
Basic math, measuring, and geometry skills.
Painting, surface preparation, paint mixing, or finishing experience preferred.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

Assist with surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and staging components for painting.
Support paint mixing, coating application, touch-ups, and finishing under supervision.
Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, and equipment for painting and fabrication.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following safety standards.
