Job summary

Chase Doors is seeking an experienced Painter for 2nd shift at our Mankato facility. You will perform skilled paint application from preparation to finishing, collaborating with Area Leads and the Production Supervisor to meet department standards and production schedules.

The role requires working Monday-Thursday 4:30 pm–3:00 am with occasional overtime on Friday, and involves adherence to SOPs, quality, and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly learn new tasks and concepts.
• 2
• 1 year of industrial or auto body painting experience is preferred.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in SOP, quality and safety practices.
• Familiarity with respiratory PPE and completion of fit testing requirements.
• Knowledge of handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Effective prioritization and workflow management to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and comprehend project specifications.
• Inspect prep and manage loading/unloading of paint and supplies; ensure color and finish tolerances.
• Track paint and supply inventories; alert Lead when replenishment is needed.
• Perform quality assurance checks throughout painting process.
