Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation in Riceville, IA seeks skilled welders to join our manufacturing team. This on-site role focuses on painting prep, priming and finishing vehicles built at the Riceville facility, contributing to high-quality refuse truck bodies designed for everyday heroes.

Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $28.34 per hour, with regular raises and a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Six months of industrial painting experience.
• Able to read checklists, paint codes, safety logs, and other required documents.
• Able to proficiently paint in a single assigned area.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred; automotive paint experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prime, paint and touchup vehicles with power spray equipment and brushes.
• Sand, wash, and condition parts as necessary.
• Inspect completed parts for quality and to validate component standards are met.
