Job summary

IQ Resource Group, Inc. is recruiting for an auto paint technician in Clintonville, WI. The role involves surface prep, paint application, finish work, and quality control to deliver finished parts.

You'll work 3:30pm to 12am, with initial training 7am-3:30pm for two weeks, earning $20.51-$26.62 per hour. Prior auto painting or industrial painting experience preferred, in warehouse/manufacturing settings.

• Paint Application: Apply primers, coatings, and single-stage paint.
• Minor Repairs: Perform small repairs and touch-ups per orders.
• Finish Work: Apply base and clear finishes per project requirements.
• Quality Control: Repair parts or units using paint inspection equipment.

Work Hours:

Job Duties:

• Surface Preparation: Ready raw parts for the application of primers, protective coatings, topcoats, and Linex.
• Material Handling: Organize parts for smooth workflow, and buff surfaces, as necessary.
• Detailing: Perform inspections and detail work for delivery readiness.
• Paint Application: Proficiently apply primers, protective coatings, and single-stage paint to various parts.
• Minor Repairs: Conduct small repairs and minor touch-ups to finalize paint jobs and prepare paint according to sales orders.
• Finish Work: Apply base and clear finishes as dictated by project requirements.
• Quality Control: Repair parts or full units due to damage or quality issues; adept at using paint inspection equipment.

Requirements:

• Experience in auto painting or auto body repair is preferred
• Experience in industrial painting preferred
• Familiarity with warehouse or manufacturing environments
