Job summary

Midwest Press & Automation LLC, a fast-growing provider of metal forming equipment, seeks a full-time Painter to prepare and paint used machines to customer colors. You will hand wipe, prep surfaces, and mask components for shipment.

Starting pay is $22–$25 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental and vision plans, 401(k) with company match, and paid vacation and holidays. Prior painting experience and a high school diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in painting and surface preparation.

Responsibilities

• Hand wipe & clean used industrial equipment.
• Prepare surface with pneumatic Dual Acting Sanders.
• Mask off hoses, sensors and machined surfaces with paper, masking tape and tin foil.
• Prime and paint machines to customer specified colors.
• Remove masking and prepare for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Hand wipe & clean used industrial equipment
• Prepare surface with pneumatic Dual Acting Sanders
• Mask off hoses, sensors and machined surfaces with paper, masking tape and tin foil
• Prime and paint machines to customer specified colors
• Remove all masking and prepare for shipment

Education, Skill & Experience Requirements

• 3+ years of experience paint and preparation
