Qualifications

• 0-1 years relevant job experience in a paint shop or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to mask, hang, powder coat, unhang & inspect parts under supervision.
• Ability to understand and perform to quality criteria for appearance.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with shop math concepts.

Responsibilities

• Operate painting tools and ventilation systems with minimal supervision.
• Perform routine painting operations for Military and commercial parts.
• Ensure quality product and safety compliance in the workplace.
• Participates in safety programs and helps identify and reduce hazards.
• Adheres to client rules and codes of conduct and quality criteria.
• Assists in inventory and material handling as directed.

Responsibilities

• Operates painting tools, measuring devices, spray booth and ventilation system with minimal supervision
• Perform routine and continuous painting operations for Military, commercial and dry film parts with minimal supervision
• Performs and understands NADCAP operations with some guidance
• Reads and follows work orders or standard work to perform Paint functions
• Understands quality criteria and quality notification with guidance
• Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies
• It takes an active role to ensure Environment, Health, and Safety standards and procedures are met and complied with
• Looks for ways to eliminate safety hazards and improve the overall safety of the workplace
• Provides continuous improvement ideas
• Ensure quality product
• Audit work area for safety compliance
• Adhere to all Client rules and codes of conduct
• Perform other duties as required and available for overtime as necessary

Requirements

• 0-1 years relevant job experience in a paint shop or experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to mask, hang, powder coat, unhang & inspect parts under supervision
• Ability to understand and perform to quality criteria for appearance
• Conduct inventory as directed to ensure raw materials and supplies are available
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings & work instructionsAbility to read blueprints with some supervision
• Basic mechanical knowledge.

• Willing to perform hand and body warm-up exercises to minimize potential for repetitive motion injuries
