American Pacific Corp. in Utah seeks an industrial painter with 3+ years of experience to apply high-performance coatings to tanks, pipes, and structural steel, including epoxies, polyurethanes, vinyl esters, and zinc-rich primers.
You will mix coatings, operate spray rigs, and maintain equipment. Must have a high school diploma or GED; ability to work independently or on a team; follow OSHA and safety rules; willingness to pass background checks and drug tests.
3+ years of Industrial Painting experience preferred. Deep knowledge of mixing and applying high-performance materials, including epoxies, polyurethanes, vinyl esters, novolacs, and zinc-rich primers. Strong knowledge of Industrial Painting and surface preparation. Ability to operate and maintain painting equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work safely and follow instructions and project specifications.
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED REQUIRED
General Description of Work Performed:
Apply specialized chemical-resistant linings, high-build epoxies, polyurethanes, and novolac phenolics to chemical storage tanks, process piping, structural steel, and secondary containment areas.
