The Role

Under the direction of the Working Shop Supervisor, the Industrial Painter is responsible for preparing weldments for painting.

Requirements

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Result Items:

1. Prepares weldments for painting.
2. Spray-paints.
3. Moves material and purchased items manually or with the aid of the overhead floor-operated crane, from storage area to assembly areas.
4. Assists machine operators, fitters, and welders when necessary.
5. Operates forklift if required to move material.
6. Maintains or assists in maintaining various areas in a clean and orderly manner.
