Job summary

Clemco is seeking an Industrial Painter to operate airless and overhead spray systems in a controlled warehouse setting. The role involves preparing surfaces, selecting appropriate thinners, and monitoring viscosity to ensure a consistent, defect-free finish.

You will work with gauges, diagrams, and work instructions while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Hours are early morning with overtime potential, and protective gear is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial painting processes and overhead spray systems.
• Ability to read drawings, gauges, and work instructions.
• Familiarity with paint thinners, viscosities, and correcting viscosity.
• Proven track record of quality painting techniques and defect detection.
• Commitment to safety rules and proper PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Paints tools, equipment, and products for industrial use.
• Operates air spray equipment and overhead hanging systems in a downdraft booth.
• Prepares products and selects thinners per instructions and supervisor guidance.
• Reads gauges, uses diagrams, and follows work directions to complete tasks.
• Maintains and cleans equipment; prepares for next day’s work.
• Ensures quality and makes repairs or adjustments as needed.
