Job summary

International Motors, LLC in Tulsa, OK, seeks a mechanical assembler to perform assembly, disassembly, fitting, and fastening of large-scale components per specs. You will use specialized tools and prepare surfaces for paint applications in a safety-sensitive manufacturing setting.

Schedule is Mon-Thu 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM, with responsibilities including inspections, defect identification, equipment maintenance, and team collaboration on projects. Automotive hands-on experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with body repair.
• At least a year of automotive hands on experience.
• At least 3 months of automotive painting work.
• Ability to achieve high performance goals with changing work directions.
• Good mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Assembles/disassemble and fasten / unfasten parts using tools; fit, bolt, weld, cut or otherwise connect components and equipment according to specifications.
• Assure material integrity by routine inspection by following established procedures and quality processes and specifications.
• Assemble / disassemble small parts requiring precision alignment and small tolerances.
• Prepares weld area appropriately to result in good weld penetration and meets structural integrity criteria.
• Identify defects and maintain their equipment.
• Collaborates with peers to accomplish projects or tasks.
