Job summary

Novipax Rockingham is seeking a Packer to operate in a production environment in Rockingham, NC. You will perform repetitive mechanical assembly tasks and assist in moving finished products through packing stages.

Responsibilities include pulling shafts, lifting rolls, wrapping and labeling, and placing finished goods on pallets. Prior assembly experience is preferred, with the ability to follow instructions and read assembly prints.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical assembly operations.
• Demonstrate the skills to use air impact tools and other hand-held tools.
• Ability to follow specific instructions and read assembly prints.

Responsibilities

• Packers will pull out shaft that product was rolled up on and place new cores on that shaft.
• Packers will lift roll(s) and place them on a packing table, where a bag is placed over the finished product.
• Once wrapped with bag and tape, Packer will pick up wrapped product and place it on a pallet.
