Pinch A Penny, a POOLCORP Company, is seeking a Neutralization Process Technician in Clearwater, FL. The role focuses on safely neutralizing process chemicals and preparing containers for recycling or disposal.

You will oversee the wash-down area, supervise staff, and ensure pools and water quality meet safety standards. Responsibilities include monitoring chemical levels, documenting activities, and adhering to state and local regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions.
• Understanding of basic chemical processes in an industrial environment.
• Maintain detailed documentation for company, state, and local regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely neutralize process chemicals contaminated or no longer suitable for resale.
• Clean and neutralize returned processing containers for recycling or disposal.
• Oversee the wash-down process area and supervise personnel in that area.
• Manage neutralization pools, water control, chemical disposal and balancing.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records per policies and regulations.
