Job summary

Bridgestone Americas in Aiken, SC seeks a Service Technician to support 24/7 production. You will troubleshoot and repair plant equipment, perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and be the subject matter expert in a dedicated production area.

The role requires multi-craft skills (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics) with PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge, plus a 12-hour rotating shift schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or apprenticeship with 3+ years industrial maintenance
• Multi-craft experience in Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronics with PLC, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime

Responsibilities

• Be Safe— comply with all safety regulations
• Partner with Engineering to install, test, and release equipment
• Record activities in a CMMS system
• Maintain equipment for production, processing, conveyors and distributed systems
• Read blueprints, schematics, manuals and test results
• Use hoists, grinders, hand tools, power tools and welding equipment
• Inspect parts for damage and wear and support repairs
