Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years of field service experience repairing heavy industrial motors and rotating equipment.
• Proficiency in laser alignment, field balancing, and vibration testing/analysis.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting for motors, pumps, generators, gearboxes, and related machinery.
• Proficiency with meters, vibration analyzers, laser alignment systems, balancing equipment, and thermal imaging tools.
• Ability to read industrial schematics, engineering drawings, nameplate data, and motor diagrams; knowledge of EASA AR100.
• Strong safety awareness; comply with LOTO, PPE and site safety; valid driver's license and clean record.
• Education: high school diploma plus technical training or apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, troubleshoot, test, service, and repair industrial motors and related equipment.
• Perform precision laser shaft alignment and final documented readings.
• Conduct field balancing and vibration testing/analysis; identify wear and issues.
• Use diagnostic tools including meters, vibration analyzers, and thermal cameras.
• Troubleshoot failures, perform root-cause analysis, and report actions to customers and management.
• Remove, install, disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble motors and rotating equipment.
• Perform field service per EASA AR100 standards and customer requirements.
• Safely rig, lift, move, and position equipment; follow LOTO and PPE procedures.
• Complete service tickets, alignment/balance/vibration reports, photos, and test results.
• Maintain company service vehicles and tools; respond to scheduled and emergency assignments.
