Job summary

D7Group is seeking highly skilled Millwrights with strong welding capabilities to join its Arkansas maintenance division. The role involves maintaining and installing industrial machinery across various sectors, including steel mills and automotive plants. Candidates should have experience in industrial maintenance, deep knowledge of mechanical systems, and the ability to work safely in physically demanding environments. Welding skills in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding are essential. This role offers an opportunity to operate in a dynamic and safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Own personal tools to complete jobs at hand.
• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in coal mining, sawmill, and/or automotive plant environments.
• Strong welding experience, particularly in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Deep understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces and high elevations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and conveyor systems.
• Perform welding for repairs and fabrication of parts and structures.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
• Assist with the installation, alignment, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure work areas are safe and clean.
• Work closely with other maintenance technicians and engineers.
• Apply strong troubleshooting skills to identify mechanical failures.
