Job summary

Aerotek in Pottstown, PA seeks an experienced Industrial Millwright / Maintenance Mechanic for a 2nd shift (1pm-9:30pm) contract-to-hire on-site role. You will maintain, repair, and install industrial machinery, perform precision alignment, troubleshoot equipment, and support production reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in millwright or related roles, strong knowledge of bearings, gears, belts, and shafts, plus the ability to read blueprints

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of millwright or industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of bearings, couplings, belts, and chains.
• Experience with equipment installation and alignment.
• Hands-on experience with rigging and material handling.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, align, install, and dismantle machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Set up mechanical systems and align shafts, belts and gears.
• Rig and move heavy parts using hoists and cranes safely.
• Read blueprints and manuals to plan tasks.
• Fabricate parts as needed for maintenance projects.
