The role focuses on designing, repairing and maintaining machines, piping, and hydraulic systems, with hands-on welding, fabrication and equipment optimization. Ideal candidates will have 5-7 years in maintenance or millwright work, experience with pumps, boilers and heavy machinery, and the ability to work across shifts in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Journeyman card a plus
• 5-7 years maintenance or millwright experience
• Heavy industrial or heavy machinery background
• Knowledge of lock out/tag out
• Availability on all shifts

Responsibilities

• Design, install, fabricate, repair, inspect, test, calibrate, adjust, maintain, modify, construct, clean, service and lubricate machines, equipment, electrical controls, structures and facilities.
• Diagnose and correct problems and proactively seek elimination of wastes and failures.
• Interpret mechanical, hydraulic and civil drawings and schematics.
• Interface with design and engineering personnel to assure efficient installations and repairs and to maintain equipment documentation integrity.
• Operate and maintain piping systems and associated fixtures; perform automotive and industrial mobile equipment repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks, inspections and repairs.
• Develop and write safe work instructions and procedures; improve reliability using data.
