Job summary

KPIC Maintenance Services Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our North Dakota locations (Minot, Bismarck, Grand Forks or Fargo).

The role focuses on safe mechanical maintenance, inspections, and installation tasks across grain handling, feed mill, and food processing facilities. You will work with a collaborative team, mentoring junior staff, and handling daily paperwork to KPIC standards while ensuring high-quality, cost-effective service.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of industrial drives, shafts, bearings, and lubrication
• Ability to install, examine, diagnose, and adjust various industrial equipment
• Welding principles; CWB certification asset
• Work in cold/hot environments with grain dust
• Industrial maintenance experience
• Agricultural industry experience asset
• Enrolled in Apprenticeship program; Journeyman asset
• Safety training: First Aid, fall arrest, confined space, WHMIS, CSTS assets

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance, inspections, and installations per specs.
• Operate forklifts and access equipment safely.
• Read equipment drawings and layout work to drawings.
• Weld and cut using appropriate equipment.
• Supervise laborers and train junior workers.
• Complete daily paperwork to KPIC standards.
• Maintain tools and tool trailer.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean work area.
