Job summary

Responsibilities include operating a forklift and scissor lift, connecting and bolting structural steel, and following strict safety rules in the industrial steel sector.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Good communication skills.
• Willing to travel within 50 miles; travel is a plus.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Layout of equipment.
• Read prints.
• Light rigging of equipment.
• Operate a forklift and scissor lift.
• Connect and bolt-up of structural steel.
• Ability to use optical alignment equipment (not required, but a plus).
• Ability to understand and follow all safety rules and regulations associated with the industrial steel industry.
• Using required tools to perform daily tasks as needed.
