PCL Construction seeks a Millwright Journeyman for the Abilene, Texas project. You will read blueprints and schematics, disassemble and assemble rotating equipment, align pumps and motors, and ensure precise tolerances on installations.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience in the industrial Millwright trades.
• Experience with rotating equipment and proper disassembly/assembly procedures.
• Able to set, grout, and align pumps and motors.
• Knowledge of lubrication and oil mist systems; understanding tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Responsible for disassembly and assembly of rotating equipment.
• Able to set, grout, and align pumps and motors.
• Align shafts and install seals.
• Check vibration on rotating equipment and use laser alignment equipment.
• Read P&IDs and perform basic equipment layout.
• Work safely and promote safety on site.
