Job summary

Borusan Pipe USA is seeking a Mechanical Technician to inspect, install, repair, and adjust equipment in the pipe mill. The role focuses on maintaining machinery, troubleshooting hydraulic and servo-powered systems, and ensuring OEM specifications are met.

Responsibilities include recording maintenance activities, participating in shift handoffs, and supporting plant startups and changeovers to optimize equipment reliability and availability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician.
• Experience with fluid power, pneumatic, hydraulic systems including servo components.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics.
• Understanding of electrical circuits related to mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, repair and adjust manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain mechanical maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions per OEM specs.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders.
• Participate in line-out meetings and shift handoffs.
• Support startups, shutdowns, and changeovers to ensure reliability.
• Perform scheduled maintenance checks and document results.
