Job summary

WK Industrial Services Corp. seeks an entry-level Industrial Millwright/Mechanic to assist experienced millwrights in installing, aligning, and maintaining industrial machinery. This role offers on-the-job training, mentorship, and growth into a fully trained millwright.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and eager to learn, with a willingness to travel to job sites as needed. Training and hands-on experience are emphasized in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in mechanical, construction, or industrial work.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to travel to job sites and work overtime/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, alignment, and assembly of machinery, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and automated equipment.
• Support machinery leveling, anchoring, and precision alignment tasks under supervision.
• Help troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Assist with rigging, hoisting, and moving heavy equipment.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and layout diagrams; verify dimensions.
• Record hours worked and maintain a clean, safe worksite.
