JSW Steel USA is seeking a Flume Crew Housekeeper to join our team in Baytown, Texas. The role focuses on housekeeping in the mill environment, including basement and flume area cleaning, painting, and maintenance support.

The successful candidate will follow safety procedures, perform inspections, and assist with additional tasks as needed to support operations. This on-site position emphasizes teamwork and the ability to work in a physically demanding industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety procedures in an industrial setting.
• Basic reading and writing skills to complete inspections and documentation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and work in confined basement areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping in assigned areas, including general mill housekeeping.
• Clean the mill basement and flume areas using cleaning tools and equipment.
• Operate a hand grinder and assist with maintenance tasks as needed.
• Perform painting on mill equipment and floors as required.
• Pressure wash equipment, parts, and flooring as needed.
• Safely dispose of grease, scale, and other materials in designated areas.
• Complete housekeeping inspections and maintain required documentation.
• Train in additional areas to support operations and multitask when needed.
• Follow all JSW Steel safety policies, procedures, and environmental guidelines.
