Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking Industrial Metal Laborers for a company in Clanton, AL. The role involves preparing steel materials for galvanizing, stacking, painting, loading/unloading and inspecting products to ensure quality and safety. Overtime may be required, with weekly pay and full benefits offered.

Pay rate ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour. Schedule is Monday through Saturday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. This is a full-time position with potential for temporary-to-hire conversion.

Qualifications

• Previous Industrial labor experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift to 60 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Comfortable working around steel, heat, noise and industrial equipment.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and move throughout the shift.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Steel-toed boots and required personal protective equipment must be worn.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare steel materials for the galvanizing process in hot atmosphere.
• Stacking Zinc
• Painting Poles
• Load, unload, hang and move steel products
• Inspect finished materials for quality
• Operate basic tools and production equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all plant safety procedures
• Assist with other production duties as assigned
