Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is seeking an Automotive Finish Technician/Painter. Openings on multiple shifts with 2nd shift and weekend options; responsibilities include surface prep, primer and paint application, and maintenance of a safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Communicate verbally with co-workers to keep a safe working environment.
• Follow instructions to complete tasks and maintain safety.
• Be able to operate hand and power tools for metal finishing and painting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces of truck parts for painting; apply primer and paint as directed.
• Inspect, repair, and clean parts; read blue prints of trucks or parts.
• Rotate between painting, sanding, and taping as directed; maintain clean work area.
