Job summary

RA Holdings Group, through our Retro Insulation branch, is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Insulator to install insulation on pipes, ducts, and mechanical equipment across commercial, industrial, and federal projects.

You will read blueprints, handle diverse materials, work with safety standards, and collaborate with contractors on site. Regular schedule Monday–Friday with opportunities for overtime. Spanish language spoken is a plus, and travel within the 757 area may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Insulator or related trade.
• Must have an ID and Social Security or Birth Certificate; Work Authorization Card for E-Verify if applicable.
• Must have a vehicle and ability to travel within the 757 cities.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install insulation materials on pipes, ducts, and mechanical equipment.
• Install mechanical insulation on hot and cold systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, and industrial systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine duct work requirements.
• Apply insulation to both hot and cold systems, including refrigeration and cold storage.
• Collaborate with contractors and other trades on construction or retrofit projects.
• Work on commercial, military base, and federal projects as assigned.
