Job summary

Gordon Food Service invites engineering students to our 12-week paid internship at the Home Office in the United States. You will work on meaningful projects, receive mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities that expose you to various parts of our business.

You will collaborate with our Engineering team serving North America and Canada, exploring areas like Communications, Finance, Accounting, HR, IT, Marketing & Merchandising, Supply Chain and Sales, and gain hands-on

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equipment lifecycle planning and support preventive maintenance system optimization.
• Evaluating mechanical and data systems to recommend operational improvements and maintenance updates.
• Performing deep-dive analysis on GFS systems to drive equipment performance and replacement strategies.
