Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs and engineering deliverables for industrial systems and equipment.
• Prepare and review: Equipment layouts, mechanical drawings and models, P&IDs, mechanical datasheets, piping and utility system designs, and equipment specifications.
• Create 2D and 3D CAD models and detailed design drawings.
• Perform engineering calculations including pump sizing, pressure drop, heat transfer, and fluid flow analyses.
• Coordinate designs with process, civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation teams.
• Review vendor drawings and submittals for compliance with project requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and technical meetings with internal teams and clients.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Support continuous improvement of engineering standards and design procedures.
• Assist with troubleshooting and design optimization for existing industrial systems.
