Job Overview

The Mechanic Multicraft Manufacturing is responsible for repairing and maintaining all assets in the production facility. This position responds promptly to equipment breakdowns, performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and provides training to new personnel. The role requires maintaining a safe environment, managing inventories, and implementing process improvements, including programming electrical and electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure machinery operation through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
2. Identify and resolve mechanical issues using observation and testing instruments.
3. Document actions and communicate effectively with work teams.
4. Maintain equipment and supplies, and monitor inventory levels.
5. Implement program changes to electronic and electrical equipment to enhance production.
6. Train personnel on equipment and procedures.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to read SOPs and instructions.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and monitor equipment parameters.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex process issues.
• Ability to make mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic adjustments.
• Preferred: Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and familiarity with PLCs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or up to 3 years of college/technical school.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience or technical degree.

Work Environment

Noise, wet conditions, and extreme temperatures.
