Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an AMO Technician - Mechanic I to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex mechanical and electrical equipment. You will investigate issues, perform diagnostics, and assist with corrective actions while adhering to safety standards.

You will work with operations and maintenance teams to identify root causes, maintain accurate maintenance records, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the AMO team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance or industrial operations preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve equipment-related complaints per maintenance procedures.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and parts lists to diagnose issues.
• Support maintenance activities following established procedures and safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic circuits and electro-mechanical systems to identify root causes.
