Qualifications

• Technical school preferred.
• Minimum 3 years mechanical repair experience in a heavy industrial setting or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Observe mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble.
• Diagnose equipment failures and provide repair recommendations.
• Dismantle devices to replace defective parts and install functional parts.
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines.
• Ensure equipment complies with OEMs and regulatory standards; lubricate per schedule.
• Administer Preventive Maintenance program and follow Work Order procedures.
