Job summary

NSG Glass North America Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and inspect equipment in a continuous operation environment. You will fabricate, overhaul and lubricate machinery, perform furnace hot repair tasks, and read maintenance documents to execute work orders.

The role requires welding skills, ability to operate drills, saws, forklifts, cranes, and elevated platforms, and willingness to join a cross-functional team for ongoing skill growth.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, repair and inspect equipment in continuous operation.
• Read blueprints, sketches and maintenance manuals to perform tasks.
• Weld using gas and electric welding equipment.
• Be willing to cross-train in additional skills.
• Rig, lift, and move parts safely with appropriate devices.
• Operate shop tools and heavy equipment including drills and saws.
• Provide technical advice and problem solving for maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety, quality, and procedural guidance in all work.

Responsibilities
