Job summary

Manhattan Mechanical Services is seeking a Mechanic to perform mechanical work on equipment and piping systems in an industrial setting with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. Familiarity with rigging and teamwork is required.

You will read permits, install piping components, and assist with hydrostatic testing, with a team-oriented approach to meet project goals. 2+ years in industrial mechanical trades and Boilermaker experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial mechanical trades.
• Strong Boilermaker experience.

Responsibilities

• Safe use of hand and power tools.
• Identify potential hazards and mitigate hazards.
• Disassembly and assembly of unit equipment.
• Read and understand all permits.
• Assist with building and installing pipe hangers and supports.
• Work as a team to support the project.
• Familiar with pipe cutting and beveling operations.
• Participate in health, safety, quality and environmental processes.
