Job description

M&M Recycling is the premier family-owned Scrap Metal Recycling company in Georgia. We are seeking a highly qualified heavy equipment mechanic. This person will report to our head mechanic and have the opportunity to work into a lead position over time.

Responsibilities:

1. Visit all four yards in the Metro Atlanta area as needed for repairs and maintenance.
2. Responsible for maintaining scrap yard equipment and machinery, planning routine services.
3. Fix equipment efficiently and effectively in urgent situations.
4. Change air filters and clean equipment to maintain function.
5. Supervise pressure washing of all equipment.
6. Perform oil changes on equipment.
7. Replace and outsource hydraulic hoses on trucks.
8. Change hydraulic cylinders on equipment.
9. Perform all general mechanic duties to keep all equipment running.
10. Must be reliable and have a good work ethic.
