Job summary
General Atomics in Palmdale, CA is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to support safe, reliable operation in our advanced manufacturing environment. You will assist in servicing, modifying, rebuilding, and repairing facility mechanical equipment, with emphasis on HVAC, plumbing, and related systems.
The role requires 5–7 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong multi-trade skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Qualifications
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or commercial facility.
- Two-year technical degree or trade school preferred.
- Strong mechanical and multi-trade background with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance skills.
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Replace filters in HVAC equipment and water systems.“
- Troubleshoot basic plumbing and electrical issues as needed.
- Perform building maintenance tasks as required.
- Inspect safety systems and ensure compliance with guidelines.
- Work safely following established procedures and practices.
