Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an Industrial Mechanic for a fulltime on-site maintenance role in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will diagnose, repair, and service industrial equipment, including pumps, governors, and clutches, while adhering to safety protocols and SOPs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.
• Must pass drug screen, pre-employment physical, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs and installs industrial mechanical equipment.
• Tests, repairs or installs mechanical units (pumps, governors, distributors, etc.).
• Replaces bearings, chains, sprockets and other machine parts.
• Rebuilds pumps, cylinders, and related equipment following SOPs.
• Fabricates repair parts as needed.
• Work requires PPE and safety compliance.
• Mobility and varied positions (stooping, standing, climbing, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.
