Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Sign Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in either auto body painting or industrial painting and demonstrate expertise in the use of professional-grade paint equipment. This position is crucial to maintaining the quality and aesthetics of our products, ensuring that all signs meet the highest standards of durability and appearance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming materials to ensure proper paint adhesion.
2. Apply paints, clear coats, and finishes to signs using precision techniques and equipment.
3. Operate and maintain a personal paint gun and related painting tools.
4. Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes.
5. Follow technical specifications and blueprints to meet design requirements.
6. Inspect painted surfaces for quality, ensuring no defects, inconsistencies, or imperfections.
7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
8. Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and production schedules.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in auto body painting or industrial painting (no residential or commercial painting).
2. Ability to operate and maintain personal paint gun and related painting equipment.
3. Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, paint application methods, and drying processes.
4. Attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes.
5. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy materials.
6. Familiarity with safety standards and practices related to industrial painting.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with large-scale industrial sign production.
2. Knowledge of different paint types (e.g., enamel, polyurethane, epoxy).
3. Certification in industrial painting or related field.
