Job summary

Turner Townsend is seeking an Industrial & Manufacturing MEP Senior Project Manager for an onsite role based in Wilton, CT. You will manage all phases of multiple real estate projects and collaborate directly with clients to define scope, budget, schedules, quality, and risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with commercial high-end interior projects, dry labs, data centers, mission critical, heavy MEP, and demanding clients is strongly desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with MS Project or similar project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout.
• Work directly with clients to prepare scope of work, project delivery resources, cost estimates and budget, work plan schedule and milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
• Define project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or via RFPs; conduct bid evaluations and recommend resources.
• Facilitate development of a charter and integrated timeline; ensure all functions stay on schedule and issues are addressed.
• Lead regular project status meetings and collaborate to develop solutions for the project team.
• Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new methods to achieve department objectives.

About the role

The Senior Project Manager, MEP in I&M provides consulting services for an assigned market or high-profile client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. This is an onsite role based in Wilton, CT.

This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

What you’ll do

• Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
• Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.
• Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct complex requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
• Facilitate the development of a charter and integrated timeline.
• Ensure all functions remain on schedule and issues get resolved or raised.
• Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.
• Collaborate to develop solutions and guide the project team through implementation and completion.
• Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
• Showcase expertise in own job subject area and in-depth knowledge of other job fields within the organization function.
• Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8+ years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Prior experience working with commercial high-end interior projects, dry labs, data centers, mission critical, heavy MEP, and demanding clients is strongly desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with MS Project or similar project management software.
• Proven track record of leading multiple projects in varying stages simultaneously and the ability to deliver under pressure in fast-paced environments is preferred.
• Interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
