Job Location: Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology.

Position Summary

This role will play a critical role in optimizing our production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and analyze process data. The position will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently.

What you will be doing

Evaluate and analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
Design and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process efficiency.
Collaborate with production teams to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
Enhance operator efficiency through training programs, ergonomic improvements, and standardized work practices.

Manufacturing Data Analysis

Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Develop data-driven solutions to enhance production performance and quality.
Utilize statistical tools and techniques to conduct root cause analysis and solve complex manufacturing problems.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

Cost Reduction (Man, Materials, Machine, Method)

Analyze and optimize the use of resources, including manpower, materials, machinery, and methods.
Develop cost reduction strategies to minimize waste and improve cost-effectiveness.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to reduce operational costs.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the financial impact of process improvements.

What You Will Bring Along

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years experience in process improvement, cost reduction, and data analysis within a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, SQL) and lean manufacturing principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing software (MES).
Project management experience is a plus.
