Job summary

Owens Corning in Moreno Valley is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support multiple maintenance functions including troubleshooting equipment, modifications, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor and Plant Manager with occasional weekend hours and possible overtime.

The role requires hands-on expertise in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, welding, and safe operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Electrical work with 460/230 V three-phase wiring and components.
• Pneumatic and hydraulic system knowledge preferred.
• Welding with MIG and stick welding.
• Able to lift 60+ lbs and work at heights.
• High school diploma or GED; technical training is a plus.
• Spanish/English bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strong, relentless and consistent focus on safety
• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Handle basic repairs and maintenance on equipment and throughout facility
• Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary
• Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them
• Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary
• Maintain focus while working independently
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned
