Job summary

The Customization Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Columbus, OH to keep production machinery running. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and support installations and process improvements.

We value safety, 5S housekeeping, and reliable uptime. Candidates should have an associate degree or 18 months of industrial experience and be comfortable reading drawings and schematics.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with a technical focus or 18 months of related experience in an industrial background.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic systems and reading schematics.
• Ability to analyze problems and perform repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to maximize uptime and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Uphold 5S/housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Assist with maintenance planning and spare parts management.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
