Job summary

Goodyear is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Georgia to support tire manufacturing operations. You will troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, and repair diverse equipment across the facility to maximize uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 and legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Able to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, kneel, and work at heights.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
• Basic computer skills.
• Journeyman's card or AAS in Industrial Maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment to maximize uptime.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain machines and drive power distribution, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Perform PLC maintenance and troubleshoot electrical/electronic issues.
• Interpret blueprints, maintenance manuals and manufacturing specifications.
• Log repairs in computerized work order system and ensure safety standards are followed.
• Adhere to safety practices including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) and PPE.
