Job summary

Goodyear Texarkana plant is seeking Production Associates to operate manufacturing equipment and perform manual labor in tire production. The role requires lifting 50-75 pounds repeatedly and working in a hot, loud environment on-site in Texarkana, AR.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or CRC Silver Certificate.

Learn more hereThe Production Associates operate manufacturing equipment and / or performs manual laborer work that supplies raw materials, products or service associated with the manufacture and processing of tires and tire components. The ideal candidate will have on-the-job experience using one or more of the following pieces of equipment: forklift, order picker, handheld mobile computer. In this role, working with high-speed production machinery including basic troubleshooting of mechanical systems using simple hand tools will be required.Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere. Dependable job attendance is expected.Shift Information: 12-hour shift, New hires would likely be placed onto the night shift.2-2-3 continuous work schedule (This scheduling allows for some natural overtime and gives a three-day weekend every other week)Work Environment: Texarkana, AR plantThe job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the factory.The environmental conditions can be hot, cold, and noisy.Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to.
