Job summary

The Marzetti Company is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plant machinery, grounds, buildings, and equipment. This role operates with minimal supervision in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.

You will follow OSHA safety standards, perform daily inspections, obtain required certifications for industrial trucks and lifts, and contribute to preventative maintenance and improvements as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and accurate troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Must obtain industrial truck and lift certification and maintain OSHA standards.
• Able to communicate effectively with team members and management.
• High School diploma or GED; industrial maintenance degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant machinery, grounds, buildings, and equipment.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Acquire and maintain industrial truck and lift certification.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
