Job summary

ANDRITZ in Appleton and Green Bay seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain buildings, machines and assets. You will safely operate tools, read prints, and troubleshoot pumps, 440V 3-phase systems, motors and drives.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 2 years in mechanical or millwright roles; PLC controls experience; HVAC a plus; and ability to work off-schedule shifts with a drug screen and background check. Proficiency with Word/Excel is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of manufacturing-related mechanical or millwright experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude; knowledge of PLCs; HVAC a plus; drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations.
• Work with production staff and contractors.
• Troubleshoot pumps, 440V 3-phase electrical systems, motors, drives, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Identify required parts and report to Shop Superintendent.
• Read and understand standard prints and instructions.
• Work off schedule shifts for urgent maintenance needs.
• Perform maintenance, housekeeping, painting and related tasks as directed.
