Job summary

Linde plc in East Chicago, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of the production facility. You will work with a four-person team to develop and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for pumps, compressors, valves, and related equipment.

You will plan turnarounds, estimate maintenance costs, support RCA activities, and participate in on-call shifts and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing pumps, compressors, and valves.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance systems and equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to support regional facilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and reliable operation of the production facility.
• Develop, implement, and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance activities, including turnaround planning and cost estimation.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment such as pumps and compressors.
• Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities for major equipment failures and support inspections.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedules and assist with inventory management of plant materials and consumables.
• Perform both office and field work in varying weather and at elevated equipment.
